While beeswax wraps are compostable, they also have another hidden talent: they make wonderful fire starters!
As a low-waste company, we’re constantly looking for ways to mitigate the inevitable waste in manufacturing. Our fire starter kits are made from the scraps, off-cuts, and imperfect fabrics left over from our beeswax food wrap production, giving new purpose to an otherwise waste product.
To use, simply pry open/loosen a single beeswax fires tarter ball, add to the base of your kindling, and light with a match. The fire starter will burn for up-to 5 minutes. Suitable for wood stoves, fireplaces, camping, and backyard fire pits.
